This is a coveted shutter release button for Nikon S, F, F2, and Barnack-type Leica cameras, which use a special shutter release button without a release hole. By installing the shutter release button, the shutter release position is raised, making it easier to release the shutter.

Mounting Methods:

Nikon camera
Place it over the shutter release button and screw it into place.

Leica and Canon cameras (Barnack type):
Remove the ring from the shutter release button, place the shutter release button on the shutter release button, and screw it on.
